An 18th Century West Norfolk pub with rooms, the George and Dragon in Newton by Castle Acre is a warm welcoming pub with a classic country feel. Enjoy a stay in one of the 10 contemporary ensuite bedrooms, all ground level with direct outside access, free parking and wifi.
We offer a great choice of beers: Woodforde's Wherry, Adnams Ghost Ship and local guest Real Ales on tap. Guinness, Carlsberg and a large selection of keg guest products. We are the Home Pub for local craft brewery Duration Beer. Please call and ask what guest beers we have in on any day.
Wines are supplied by London’s Lea and Sandeman specialising in small vineyards and selecting individual vintages.
